Description

 

An insecticidal and acaricidal agent against ectoparasites, including red mites.

Ivermek-ON is a clear, colourless to yellow, opalescent liquid, easily miscible with water.

Packing: 1000 mL plastic bottles with tamper-evident plastic caps.

 

Pharmacological properties

Ivermectin belongs to semisynthetic avermectines. It is a mixture of B1 and B1b dihydroavermectines. It has an insecticidal and acaricidal effect on imagoes and larvae of flies, lice, fleas, gamasids (incl. red mites), and ixodic ticks.

 

Indications

In presence or abscence of animals, Ivermek-ON is used to kill larvae and imagoes of flies, lice, fleas, gamasids (incl. red mites), and ixodic ticks. The agent has an acute insecticidal potency and residual effect persisted for 40 days after application.

 

Dosage and route of administration

For disacaridisation, an Ivermek-ON working solution is used freshly prepared under the supervision of a veterinarian or a veterinary paramedic with the API concentration of 0.01%, which corresponds to a dilution of 1:100 (one part of Ivermek-ON per 100 parts of water, respectively).In order to prepare working solutions, Ivermek-ON shall be diluted in water at a room temperature, while regularly stirring for 5 minutes.

The lifetime of the working solutions must not exceed 24 hours upon their preparation. To apply the Ivermek-ON working solution, spraying or sprinkling equipment of various brands is used.

Consumption rate of working solutions shall be 100 mL/m2 (non-absorbent surfaces) and 500 mL/m2 (absorbent surfaces). Repeated treatment shall be performed as entomologically indicated (upon the appearance of insects).

Restrictions

No restrictions set regarding the products obtained from the poultry treated with the insecticaricidal agent.
