Description
A highly effective disinfectant with a cost-efficient treatment and minimal exposure period.
Fulgard is a light yellow to brownish yellow transparent liquid with a weak characteristic odour, easily miscible with water in any proportion.
Packing: 1 L plastic bottles or in 5 L or 20 L plastic canisters with screw caps.
Fulgard has a bactericidal effect against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, virucidal activity and a fungicidal effect (including that against sporogenous forms, yeasts, and molds). The agent is effective against pathogens of resistance groups 1 to 4.
Mode of action: the drug disrupts redox processes in the microbial cell by reacting with amine groups in proteins of microorganism.
Fulgard is used for compulsory and preventive disinfection of veterinary supervision facilities, including:
animal farm facilities, process equipment, amenities (including incubator houses, egghandling plants), dairy blocks and feeding centers, sanitary appliances, diseased animal slaughter houses, slaughter rooms and slaughterhouses, open facilities (ramps, docks, and platforms), packages, and uniforms
manufacturing facilities, process equipment and territories of biological enterprises, food processing industry, as well as packaging, clothing, and items of animal care
vehicles (including road, rail, water, and air transport used for transportation of animals as well as raw materials and products of animal origin)
veterinary clinics (stations), laboratories, vivariums, circuses, and zoos.
Before disinfection, the premises and equipment must be mechanically cleaned and washed.
Working solutions should be prepared according to the concentration required for disinfection purposes, by adding necessary amounts of the agent to pipe water, the temperature of which is 8 to 25°С. When the concentration of working solution is calculated, the agent is taken as 100%.
