Description

A complex oral solution based on sulfadimidine and trimethoprim for the treatment of poultry with gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases of bacterial etiology.

Ditrim OR in appearance is a transparent liquid from yellow to light brown in color.

Packing:1 liter in polymer bottles and 5 liters in polymer cans.

 

Pharmacological properties

Ditrim OR belongs to the pharmacotherapeutic group – sulfonamides in combinations. Sulfadimidine and trimethoprim have a synergistic effect, which provides a wide range of bacteriostatic activity against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including:

Indications

Ditrim OR is prescribed to poultry for the treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory and gastrointestinal tract, the pathogens of which are sensitive to sulfadimidine and trimethoprim (including pasteurellosis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, staphylococcosis and coccidiosis).

Restrictions

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Contraindications to the use of the drug are individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, severe functional disorders of the liver and kidneys. It is prohibited to use the drug to chickens whose eggs are intended for use in food, and to repair young chickens less than 14 days before the start of egg laying. Simultaneous use of the drug with B vitamins (nicotinamide, folic acid, choline) and paraaminobenzoic acid derivatives is prohibited, due to their antagonistic interaction.

RESTRICTIONS

Treated animals can be slaughtered for human consumption no earlier than 7 days after the last application of Ditrim OR.

SHELF LIFE

3 years from the date of manufacture; after first opening – 60 days.
